Dassault Falcon Service establishes satellite station at London Luton Airport

In partnership with Harrods Aviation Ltd, Dassault Falcon Service has strengthened its presence in the United Kingdom. This DFS establishment known as 'Dassault Falcon Service UK' is based at London's Luton airport to provide Dassault Falcon customers the assistance they need.

Permanent Falcon assistance at London Luton Airport

Following Nice (France) and Vnukovo (Moscow) GoTeams, this satellite will enable DFS to significantly expand its maintenance ability to support Falcon customers where they operate. Luton airport is one of the top five European airports for business aviation, a major hub between the United States and Europe, where traffic volume continues to increase.

“Firmly establishing DFS' presence in the United Kingdom positions us to ensure our customers receive the support they expect, where they need it”, said Jean Kayanakis, general manager of Dassault Falcon Service. Available 24/7, the technicians are able to troubleshoot any AOG case, even at Farnborough, Biggin Hill, Northolt, London City, Gatwick and Stansted airports, for a quick return to service. They also perform unscheduled maintenance and line maintenance services. With the support of Le Bourget ramp service, the satellite can be supplied with all of the spare parts needed in less than 12 hours. DFS UK GoTeam has operated more than 300 missions in 2012.

A partnership with Harrods Aviation Ltd

DFS' satellite service centre has recently moved into a new facility at Harrods Aviation Ltd.'s executive aviation terminal. John Bool, technical director commented, “With so many Dassault aircraft utilising our FBO services, it made perfect sense to extend the support offered to these customers by welcoming the DFS GoTeam into our maintenance hangar. It is imperative any AOG team have access to the aircraft as swiftly as possible.”

Working together, this is a great opportunity for the two companies to improve their range of services, always providing the best service to all customers.
