Advanced Air Support International

Paris (Le Bourget) Airport

Press Release

Issued by Advanced Air Support International.

December 10, 2012

Advanced Air Support extends range of services for vip clients and wide-bodied aircraft even further

Advanced Air Support is an FBO offering outstanding services at Paris-Le Bourget airport – services that are constantly evolving, designed precisely for the needs of passengers, crew, and aircraft. This makes Advanced Air Support the only FBO to offer en-suite bedrooms and the latest generation airport equipment. Advanced Air Support has increased its parking space this year and is equipped with new material to deal with all types of wide-bodied aircraft.

Yet more resources for wide-bodied aircraft

The spacious hangars, private lounges and Advanced Air Support's strengthened team already enable the company to deal with several different types of aircraft at the same time.

Advanced Air Support has significantly expanded the ramp and parking areas this year, bringing the total area from 28,000 to 36,000 sqm. The legendary Lindbergh hangar (which housed the famous aviator on his arrival from New York in 1927), a 16,000 sqm listed building, allows for quality parking, whether for a short- or long-term stay.

Another hangar, exclusively dedicated to wide-bodied aircraft, is currently being built and will be accessible in early 2014.

The company has also completed its runway equipment by incorporating two Air Start Units (ASU), a container dolly, a goods lift, de-icing equipment and a medical lift for wheelchair access. The latter two items are unique at Le Bourget.

In November 2012, Advanced Air Support integrated VIP red carpet stairs: carpeted the full length of the stairway, unique in Europe.

A new terminal for 2013

At the new entrance to Le Bourget airport, Jet Services Group, holding of Advanced Air Support, has invested in the construction of a hangar for wide-bodied aircraft and an upmarket aviation terminal. The 13,000 sqm terminal will include more than 3,000 sqm of lounge and office areas, part of which will be leased to third parties, and a private underground carpark. A total of 17,000 sqm of parking area and 10,000 sqm of hangars will be fitted to house wide-bodied aircraft. The whole of the facilities was designed to be in perfect harmony with the architecture of the Ségur group's future hotel which will be opposite the terminal.

A truly personalised service in the purest Parisian style

Advanced Air Support projects the image of French-style service. Now new VIP lounges have been opened: "The Montaigne", "The Vendôme", "The Etoile", "The Eiffel" and "The Lindbergh" offer the promise of excellence. These five exclusive spaces, all elegantly decorated, have Wi-Fi and satellite TV and are in constant contact with the concierge service. Clients can choose from a large selection of upmarket French and international catering products and fine wines, and have their every wish granted. The "VVIP" lounge has a proper bathroom and independent access.

Three en-suite bedrooms, two crew lounges, a fully equipped conference room as well as a meditation/prayer room complete the facilities.

Lastly, a boutique, integrated and managed by a cabin fitting specialist, will allow to fully fit out an aircraft, offering a wide choice of linen, decorations, tableware and accessories from the biggest names in French luxury.

Advanced Air Support, just 15 km from the Champs Elysées, is certainly taking on the allure of a luxury hotel!
