Press Release

Issued by MCM Maintenance Centre Malta.

July 27, 2012

M.C.M. Maintenance Centre Malta Ltd. is now an authorized Garmin dealership

M.C.M. Maintenance Centre Malta is pleased to announce that it has recently been appointed Garmin's authorized avionics dealer in Malta.

M.C.M. is an EASA and NCAA approved part 145 line and base maintenance facility operating at the most southern tip of Europe in Malta. Their approval not only covers a large selection of business aircraft including the complete Bombardier series, Cessna Citations, Dornier and Hawker Beechcraft but also a wide range of piston aircraft such as Diamonds and Cessnas.

Alexander Vit, director of M.C.M. points out, "With the collaboration with this OEM, we can offer our customers better deals on Garmin products, from a handheld GPS to a fully integrated upgrade of their flight deck. We are currently in the process of reinstating a Cessna S550 back to service. The aircraft is currently for sale and as soon as we have a buyer, we will put the finishing touches on demand of the customer's request.

"One of the options is to retrofit the aircraft with the state of the art Garmin G1000 integrated flight deck. The new avionics will give the owner the advantage of flying with a fully integrated, FMS with dual WAAS LPV, RVSM compliant flight deck that has state of the art features like the GFCTM 700 autopilot, Garmin's synthetic vision technology, weather datalink, and Garmin's SafeTaxiTM. This will provide the owner with the feel of a new aircraft at a more affordable price.

"Malta's ideal location, in between the Middle East, Europe and Africa, and the launch of the Malta Aircraft legislation act, the aviation sector has been growing at a rapid pace. In order to meet demand, we are constantly working on improving our services by working closely with our suppliers."

M.C.M. Maintenance Centre Malta Limited is a member of the M.C.M. Group which offers airworthiness management (CAMO), training (EASA Part 147), and maintenance. The group offers flexible and reliable services in six locations on three continents including Asia, Africa, and Europe.
