Dassault Falcon's satellite service stations in St. Louis and West Palm Beach receive EASA certification

Dassault Falcon announced today that its satellite service stations in St. Louis and West Palm Beach have both received EASA certification.

"EASA's swift recognition of our capabilities will allow us to serve European registered aircraft in locations that receive quite a bit of transient traffic," said Frank Youngkin, Senior Vice President, Western Hemisphere Customer Service. "This is just one more step towards increasing our 'footprint of service' for the global Falcon fleet."

The West Palm Beach Satellite Service Center came online in December, 2011, and is authorized to perform "A" inspections up to the "4A+" inspection on the Falcon 50, Falcon 2000 and Falcon 900 family of aircraft as well as the Falcon 7X. It has about $1.5 million in tooling, equipment and Falcon spares in addition to a hangar, shop and offices for employees and customers. A Falcon AOG 'GoTeam' is also located at the facility. A 'GoTeam' provides rapid mobile response directly to an aircraft location with the parts, tooling and personnel necessary to get an operator's Falcon flying with minimal delay.

The St. Louis Satellite Service Center shares the same maintenance and inspection capabilities as West Palm Beach location, including an AOG 'GoTeam'. It also houses about $1.5 million dollars in tooling, equipment and Falcon spares in addition to a hangar, shop and offices.

Dassault Falcon created Satellite Service Centers in 2010 as part of a major new strategy designed to further expand the 'footprint of service' for its worldwide Service Center Network. Similar satellite operations are located Luton-London, U.K., Rome, Italy; Moscow, Russia and Nice, France.
