Hawker Pacific orders six Beechcraft King Air 350i turboprops at EBACE 2012

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) today announced a new order for six Beechcraft King Air 350i turboprops from Hawker Pacific, a leading sales and product support company throughout the Asia Pacific region. The order was received today at the 2012 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland. The sale builds on Hawker Pacific's long-standing relationship with HBC and will support its growing commercial and special missions operations across Australia and Southeast Asia.

The six deliveries will be phased over the next three years, with the first delivery taking place later this year, three deliveries in 2013 and the final two aircraft being delivered in 2014.

"Hawker Pacific is a long-term partner of HBC and we are delighted that they have continued to put their faith in our aircraft with this significant order," said Sean McGeough, HBC president, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. "This deal underlines the growing demand in Australia and Southeast Asia for state-of-the-art aviation – for both commercial and special mission use – and we are confident that these six King Air 350i turboprops will provide Hawker Pacific's customers with unmatched value, fuel efficiency and comfort."

Alan Smith, CEO of Hawker Pacific, added: "We have received increasing inquiries from customers looking to reduce costs without sacrificing quality or performance, so the King Air 350i is the perfect fit for us. With class-leading capabilities, performance and efficiency, we are confident these six aircraft will prove very popular amongst our clients across Asia Pacific."

The Beechcraft King Air 350i turboprop utilizes high technology for increased efficiency, providing a responsible, sustainable alternative for business air travellers. Not only is the King Air 350i the segment's greenest aircraft, it can also take more passengers farther on less fuel – meaning consistent savings for operators. The King Air 350i's state-of-the-art design and performance enhancements represent new heights of power and durability, and a new interior means that it has the most comfortable and capable cabin ever offered in its class. Its legendary ruggedness, reliability and large cabin cross-section also make it the ideal platform for special missions enhancements, including air ambulance, aerial surveillance and reconnaissance.
