RUAG Aviation, already running a FBO at Geneva airport, has expanded its FBO activities to Lugano airport by partnering with E-Aviation Lugano, the local FBO provider.

With RUAG's strong footprint in maintenance and value-adding aircraft services, E-Aviation perceives RUAG as the perfect partner to develop its FBO in Lugano. The joint forces of the two companies now can offer the full FBO portfolio customers would expect when flying in or out of Lugano. The service now offered ranges from passenger and crew services up to technical assistance and line maintenance services.

RUAG as well as E-Aviation strongly believe that Lugano airport will be the business aviation hub for northern Italy and Italian speaking Switzerland, and professional FBO services will be essential for the airport development. For RUAG entering the FBO business in Lugano is a strategic movement fostering proximity to customers and for E-Aviation the partnership with RUAG is an enabler to enlarge the service portfolio and grow the business.
