Jet Services, the French business aviation group, today announced that it took control of the Darta group at the end of December 2011. This operation is fully in line with Jet Services' aim of developing its activities on the le Bourget platform. It will also enable the strategic redeployment of Darta, a traditional player in French business aviation, allowing it to build a long-term position for itself.

In the coming months, major investment will be involved in the construction of a hangar for wide-bodied aircraft and an upmarket business aviation terminal; concurrently, construction of the 'Courtyard by Marriott' hotel will soon begin.

In this way, Jet Services is strengthening its services on the le Bourget platform where the group is already present via a terminal handling service (advanced Air Support), a maintenance hub (Uni Air Entreprise), an aerial photography business (Aerovision) and other business aviation companies.
