Aeronautical Professionals obtains EASA Part M Subpart G approval to complement sister company’s, Maintenance Centre Malta Ltd. (MCM), new line & base maintenance facility

AP Malta Ltd. (AP?Aeronautical Professionals Malta Limited), a subsidiary of the Maintenance Centre Munich Group, obtained their EASA Part M approval number MT.MG.04 from the regulating authority, Transport Malta. This is MCM Group's next step in improving the services provided in the aviation industry on Malta following the construction of a hangar and receiving a base maintenance approval in June of 2010.

AP Malta Ltd. is the first company on Malta to offer a variety of services for commercial and private aircraft operators including: airworthiness reviews, issuing and recommendations of Airworthiness Review Certificates, CAMO engineering services for commercial operators, pre?buy inspections and appraisal reports, the creation and support of Maintenance, aircraft registration, aircraft import & export management, and assortment of training including introduction to EASA Part?M & 145, ATA 104 level 1 type training, human factors, and fuel tank safety.

Malta has an ideal position, lying in between Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, and is notable for its tax incentives and well trained aviation personnel. AP Malta Ltd. in collaboration with its sister company, the EASA Part 145 approved Maintenance Centre Malta (MCM), will be offering the aviation industry a one stop shop for all business aircraft needs. AP Malta Ltd. will have its services complemented by its partners with: line/base maintenance, on wing veneer repair, interior and exterior cleaning, paint jobs, spare part services, 24/7 AOG maintenance team, leather & upholstery repair/refurbishment for a large selection of business jets all under one roof.

Malta is currently reforming its legislature concerning the registration of aircrafts. The "Aircraft Registration Act" will minimise the bureaucracy related to registering an aircraft and the procedures for the registration and enforcement of security over an aircraft. It will also enact the Cape Town Convention standards, which permit aircrafts to be used as a security, providing financial backing to the aviation industry. This will make Malta an attractive place to register an aircraft and AP Malta Ltd. is ready to provide the assistance to make this attainable.
