Since starting in 2013, the ambulance charity's fleet of Leonardo AW169 helicopters has flown approximately a quarter of a million miles at night, equivalent to flying around the Earth 11 times or travelling to the Moon.

UK operator Specialist Aviation Services (SAS) has secured an agreement with Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust (KSSAAT) to provide a second AW169 for the charity.
