This month EBAN magazine takes a look at the AW139, a twin-engine helicopter with one of the largest cabins in the intermediate class. Its two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6C-67C engines support a maximum take off weight of between 6,400 and 6,888 kg with one or two pilots and up to 15 passengers.
Fireblade appoints Vertis for charter sales

South African Fireblade Aviation is to work alongside Swiss Vertis Aviation in marketing a Global 6000, Learjet 45 and AW139 on Fireblade's AOC. Vertis has just opened an office at the Fireblade Aviation FBO in O.R. Tambo international airport, Johannesburg, which it will use as a base to sell flights on the three aircraft.
