UTair plans to use 50 helicopters in the latest configuration to perform passenger and cargo transportation within the framework of the oil and gas projects of its customers, primarily in the Vostok Oil project of Rosneft.

Parts for the helicopter, which is 700 kg lighter than its predecessor, have been manufactured with the aid of computers. It has piqued interest in Africa and Asia as well as former Soviet Union nations.
