The $300m deal will provide financing solutions for seagliders. Monte will offer Regent customers operating and finance leases, along with infrastructure financing to facilitate seaglider operations.

Regent has gained investment from HIS to bring its seagliders to market, and will look at employing regional mobility solutions along Japan's coastlines.

Surf Air's seagliders could unlock new routes along Florida's coastal corridors. The new regional hub will serve passengers in South Florida and the Caribbean.
