Joby has tested its aircraft in flight, from precision landing and outwash to human factors, many times and in all weathers. Pre-production flight testing is complete and now the focus is on for-credit flight testing.
The OEMs have inked agreements with Abu Dhabi and Dubai to establish air taxi operations within an AAM ecosystem; Archer with its Midnight aircraft and Joby with the JAS4-1.

The expanded facility is designed to support a target production rate of 25 aircraft per year and will also house an expanded pilot training and flight simulation centre as well as aircraft maintenance facilities.
